COVID-19 has encouraged us all to shift the ways that we engage in HIV prevention work. The Midwest CBA providers — San Francisco Community Health Center- Chicago, Washington University in St. Louis, and AIDS United — will host a series of virtual conversations and learning sessions from February 23 until February 26, 2021 on these topics. An agenda is attached with additional information.

This symposium will offer participants the opportunity to…

·       Discuss the diverse impact(s) of COVID-19 on the HIV continuum of care and programming within the Midwest region.

·       Learn about HIV prevention interventions and strategies such as clinical HIV testing, PrEP navigation, re-engagement to care, social marketing and social media, community engagement, and more.

·       Explore innovative practices for addressing barriers to prevention and care during the COVID-19 pandemic.

·       Meet the CDC Midwest Capacity Building Assistance (CBA) providers and learn about regional technical assistance services.

We look forward to engaging with you. Please visit the registration site to reach out with any questions.
