Press Conference: SFCCC National Health Center Week (ft. Lance Toma)
Last week was National Health Center Week (NHCW). NHCW was established to raise awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s health centers over the past five decades. This year’s National Health Center Week’s theme—Powering Communities Through Caring Connections—aptly describes our work at SFCHC. Community Health Centers are led by their patients. Being community led is critical. Health care is an essential component to strengthening the health and wellness of our City. And if we are going to solve for the most complex of problems we face here in San Francisco, community health centers must be a core part of that solution.
