Diana Lieu has a background in digital arts and media and believes in the power of elevating transformative health equity work to drive social change through strong communications. At San Francisco Community Health Center, Diana works to wrangle external-facing communications so that the incredible work we do is reflected in our digital organization.

Prior to joining San Francisco Community Health Center, Diana served as the Director of Communications at The Praxis Project, a intermediary organization working to bridge the work between community organizing and the conventional public health profession. Diana also has a decade of experiencing in providing technical assistance and training and held in a variety of roles at Health Outreach Partners. Their work included communications and digital media, curriculum development, training, and consultation services to advance health equity within community health centers, health departments, and safety-net health organizations across the country. From 2008-2010, Diana coordinated an LGBTQ wellness program at Apicha Community Health Center—the beginning of their career in community health. Preceeding, Diana worked on immigrant rights initiatives at the New York City Commission on Human Rights. Diana has a B.A. in Arts from Sarah Lawrence College.

In their free time, Diana enjoys taking photographs, cooking, running slowly, and trying to make pottery.
