SF Pride 2023: How to Safely Enjoy the Party

SFCHC Managing Director Kate Franza, who leads the agency’s behavioral health services team, provides local news station KQED with expert tips on how to celebrate safely at SF Pride in light of ongoing concerns over fentanyl-laced party drugs.

“We don’t want folks to be anxious,” she said, “but we want folks to know that there’s ways that they can prepare themselves and do things to be safe so that they can check if their drugs have fentanyl in them and then make an informed decision.”
