Founded by Del Seymour and currently led by Executive Director Donna Hilliard, two visionary leaders whose care for the community seems limitless, Code Tenderloin is a beacon of hope, opportunity, and transformation in the heart of San Francisco.

Since its founding, Code Tenderloin has been relentless in its mission to break down barriers to employment and create equitable access to the tech industry for individuals who have traditionally been excluded. Through workforce development, coding classes, professional skill-building, and unwavering mentorship, this organization has helped more than 18,000 people to achieve economic stability.

Code Tenderloin doesn’t just teach skills — it creates pathways. It challenges systems of inequality and offers second chances. And it does all of this with compassion, resilience, and deep love for the Tenderloin neighborhood and beyond.

We can’t wait to honor Code Tenderloin and its immense impact at this year’s Show of Hope. Please join us and purchase your tickets or sponsorships today!
