Stop the Hate is a groundbreaking initiative addressing the alarming rise of anti-API LGBTQ hate, violence, and crime in our community. We believe in fostering a safe and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive without fear of discrimination or violence.
Stop the Hate combats anti-API LGBTQ hate with support groups, non-violence trainings, holistic health, mental health resources, medical and legal aid referrals, hate incidents reporting, and senior escort services.
KEY ISSUES
40% of API Californians have experienced physical violence
1 in 4 API Californians are living with everyday discrimination
API Californians that have experienced racial violence and discrimination are at increased risk of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, suicide and substance use/ misuse
Since 2020, there has been 11,000+ reports of hate on the API community

Support Groups
Our peer support groups provide a supportive community for individuals who have experienced hate or discrimination. These groups offer solidarity, validation, and empowerment.
Empower through Education
Offering classes, including de-escalation sessions, self-defense courses, and holistic mind-body classes, tailored to empower API LGBTQ individuals with practical skills for navigating challenging situations and promoting self-determination.
Referrals
Seamless referrals to medical, behavioral health, and legal services for API LGBTQ individuals affected by hate crimes and incidents.
Senior Safety Escort Service
Our program provides a safety escort service for API LGBTQ elders as they navigate their daily activities, giving them a sense of security and peace of mind.

Accessible and anonymous reporting mechanisms to ensure comprehensive responses to hate crimes within the community.
