STAHR (San Francisco Transgender Alliance for Health Resources)
San Francisco Transgender Alliance for Health Resources is an innovative, collaborative, client-centered Health Access Point (HAP) program specifically focused on addressing the needs of trans women in San Francisco (SF). STAHR is a funded partner of San Francisco Department of Public Health Community Health Equity and Promotion (CHEP) HAP network. With the participation and leadership of trans women from a range of backgrounds throughout all levels of the project, the STAHR-CBA project provides innovative, multi-service, and community-engaged Health Access Point training and TA that addresses all components of the CHEP in a seamless, comprehensive, and integrated manner, with the goal of significantly reducing HIV, STD, and HCV infection and improving the safety, health, and quality of life of trans women in SF.
