A passionate public health professional with a deep commitment to social justice, Jason leverages extensive experience in community health and advocacy to champion inclusive, culturally sensitive initiatives aimed at the well-being of marginalized communities. Jason began his journey at SFCHC serving clients as a medical case manager where he learned to navigate the complexities of healthcare disparities. This experience, coupled with his supportive work environment, fueled his passion to create safe spaces for the LGBTQIA community to heal and celebrate who they are. Jason currently serves as the Program Manager for Stop the Hate, providing comprehensive strategies to combat discrimination and promote resiliency in those affected by hate.
A dedicated advocate for LGBTQIA and BIPOC individuals, Jason is deeply invested in fostering partnerships, coordinating programs, and delivering impactful services that address the unique needs of marginalized communities. He brings to his role a profound understanding of cultural humility and a determination to uphold the principles of social justice in all endeavors.
Beyond his public health pursuits, Jason has over 20 years of experience as a practitioner of holistic wellness, holding a Certificate of Massage Therapy from the National Holistic Institute. Furthermore, since 2007, he has enjoyed being a principal dancer for the renowned San Francisco-based Hawaiian hula dance company, Na Lei Hulu I Ka Wekiu.
