Rowland Mendoza

Rowland Mendoza (he/him) has been working at the San Francisco Community Health Center for over 6 years, primarily working within the HIV Prevention field. He is passionate about uplifting the Queer Trans Asian & Pacific Islander community and enjoys producing events and creating safe spaces for folks to gather. At present he is the Associate Director of Prevention Services, overseeing The Lotus Project, Stop the Hate program, and low barrier HIV, and Hep C Testing for the STAHR program.

Aside from his work commitments, Rowland volunteers his time through community work. He is currently the Vice Chair of the GLBTQ+ Asian Pacific Alliance (GAPA), and member of the Asian Constituent Advisory Panel (CAP) at NMAC.
